Definitely make time to fit this into your Door County vacation! My fiancé and I went on the sunset cruise. Everyone was friendly and the boat was cozy without being cramped - plenty of room to move about and take pictures, chat, and eat our food/drink our beer. Speaking of beer, a previous reviewer (Leane612) mentioned her husband trading beers with the guy sitting next to him - that would be my fiancé. :) I agree with her that the price of the cruise was very reasonable but it would have been nice to know that tips were encouraged. I'm lucky I brought cash since the two crew members were friendly and did a great job of juggling customer service with their other boat duties. Hopefully this business is still operating out of Door County when we make a return trip someday - it was a fun experience that I would gladly repeat.

I went with my husband. There were other couples and as well as adult friends. (A family was booking a later sail). The crew was great- friendly and engaging. The trip was peaceful, romantic, fun, and I learned some things about sailing and the area. I woukd definitely recommend the trip.

This was by far the highlight of our trip. We had never been sailing before, but would do it again after this experience. The crew was awesome and very friendly. It was like sailing with good friends. The price was very reasonable when you consider some of the other options in the area. I recommend it! BYOB as well = PERFECT.

On our sunset cruise, we loved seeing Sister Bay, Eagle Harbor, and Peninsula State Park from out on the water. Our beautiful wooden schooner had lots of room, and the smiling, knowledgeable crew made an already excellent outing nearly perfect. We will Sail Door County again!

We sailed on the 6 person wooden sail boat for the 2 hour sunset cruise on what looked to be a beautiful night. Once we got out in the bay it looked like storms were rolling in from one side, the captain did a great job at keeping us out of the storms, completely missing them and still managing to give us a picture perfect view of the sunset. He also gave some great area restaurant recommendations.

My husband and I saw the sign on the rental kiosk, and arranged the sail on the Edith M. Becker tall ship on a whim. A spur of the moment activity ended up being one of the most memorable activities on our Door County vacation. The crew was amazing, balancing professional sailing with humor. Do not pass up this opportunity.

My wife and I took the sunset on July 26th. Beautiful boat and scenery. They allow you to bring your own drinks. We brought a small 6 pack size cooler which was a perfect size. We took the smaller sailboat with 2 other couples. Plenty of room and not as crowded as the larger boat appeared to be. Either way I am sure you will greatly enjoy the trip. Definitely a must do to enjoy the water and hopefully a beautiful sunset.

What a lovely ride. We were a very small group on the tall ship. The crew was lively and let my brother help raise the sails. Thanks.
