THe Boat:

This intimate venue carries 23 passengers, allowing you to limit your guest list to the loved ones that truly matter. This Tall-ship's rich history sets the ideal ambiance for the start to your story. Built by the loving hands of Herb and Dorris Smith, this vessel has twice circumnavigated and can handle her salt. Sailing on the bay of Lake Michigan for your special day is a cake walk compared to her history at sea.

In case of weather:

Any sailor knows that a when a knot gets wet it becomes near impossible to untie, and this is the theory behind the good luck of rain on a wedding day. Being a nautical venue, weather can be an issue, but fear knot (pun intended). Sail Door County has a team of captains and crew constantly watching the radar. We ensure safety for everyone on board and we won't risk bad weather conditions. If conditions are unsafe we have a back up venue planned for your special day. A 46ft wedding barn ready for your vows, making your planning seamless.
